Change wardrobe mid-shoot, or change the horse's turnout: western to English, a bridle swap, a bareback pad, or back to a clean halter and lead for a simpler frame.

$50 per change. Budget about ten minutes of shooting time for each one, which matters most in the golden hour when the light is moving.
