An overnight stay in the Large Trailer at Ocean View Stables. A quiet, private place to wake up to ocean air and the sound of horses, set on the property fifteen minutes from San Francisco with the coastal hills and our private beach trail at the door.

Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM the following morning. Keys are collected from the barn office at check-in and returned to the barn office drop box by check-out.

$350 per night. The quantity on this line is the number of trailers, not the number of nights - the nights are taken from the check-in and check-out dates on this order.

Every stay requires an on-property experience, and it is a separate purchase on top of this rate - it is not included. You choose it when you book: a beach trail ride ($192.60), a one hour foundational horsemanship lesson ($160), or a Sip & Paint session ($100). Training is tailored to each rider’s experience and goals—whether you’re building fundamentals, refining technique, or developing a stronger partnership with your horse. Every session prioritizes safety, progress, and a supportive environment where riders can grow with consistency and purpose.

The Lesson Academy

The Lesson Academy is the structured learning track within Leyden Horsemanship—designed to help riders progress step-by-step with a clear path, measurable milestones, and consistent coaching. Riders develop strong foundations in riding skills and horsemanship, build confidence through guided practice, and move forward at a pace that matches their goals. The Academy creates a steady, organized way to improve—making it easier to stay consistent, track growth, and celebrate progress over time.

Once your subscription begins, your monthly lesson points will be added to your account automatically. From there, you can book your sessions anytime through Lesson Appointments on the website. When you reach the payment step during checkout, you’ll see an option to apply/claim your membership points to cover that lesson.

A second hand-selected horse for your photography session, with handling included for the full session.

Use this when the shot calls for two horses in frame, when you want a colour or breed contrast, or when a second person is being photographed alongside the first.

Priced per additional horse. Set the quantity to the number of extra horses you want. Subject to availability on the day - tell us early if a specific colour, breed or temperament matters to the vision.

One additional look mid-session: a wardrobe change for the subject, or a tack change on the horse.

A tack change means swapping the horse's turnout - western saddle to English, a bridle change, a bareback pad, or stripping back to a simple halter and lead for a cleaner frame.

Priced per change. Set the quantity to the number of changes you want. Each change costs roughly ten minutes of shooting time, so plan them against the light.

Extends your session by one hour beyond the standard 1.5 hours, with the same horse and handler held for the extra time.

Worth adding if you are shooting multiple looks, moving between the barn, the bluffs and the beach trail, or working with a subject who needs time to get comfortable around a horse.
